is there an easy way to drop the rear of my truck like an inch or two more?
i already have the 2 inch drop shackles, but they just really arent making my truck level and i dont want to go with a flip kit really

any suggestions?

You could remove the overload spring, but that'll only give you extra 1/2 inch drop. Might as well just go out and buy a drop kit. Cause it's never lower enough, as most of us have learned, and in the end, you'll prolly buy one anyways.

:********: It's the mod bug, and it's a *****!

i dont think i have an overload spring though.
is it an extra leaf spring on the normal one? if so, then i dont have it.
and i only need something for the back, because i can raise and lower it via the torsion bars.

Hahaha yeah it's either the shackles or the flip kit :)

Don't worry, we love lowered 4wd trucks here!

My old 05 Quad Cab 5.7L 4wd lowered about 3.5/5.5:

Yeah I think so.... not too sure how low the torsion bars will let you go, will it look level with a 4" drop?

Oh ya 4" in the back would look good, I just meant trying to make the front match it without lookin goofy because I'm not sure on the front
