Hey guys so I'm not sure yet, cause I don't have the bed on yet, but I have a feeling the back end is going to be slightly lower than the front. Like I said though, I not sure yet. So hypothetically speaking... how would I go a lil lower in the front? My CV axles are fine so they wont be at an extreme angle or anything. And I would only wanna drop it maybe an 1-1.5 inches in the front. I know ground force makes a drop that uses torsion keys for 2 inches of drop in the front. What do you guys think?

Found these too... but it doesn't say how much they lower.

when i did my 05 i used the mcgaughys but then they advertised it for the 4x4. i had it installed by a shop and it looked great. while researching i remember reading that you could turn your torsion keys up or down to gain the desired effect. im not sure if that would effect it structurally. maybe a 4x4 guy could chime in. i do know of guys that have lifted their trucks by turning the keys

Put a little air in the bags so the back will sit the same height as the front. And its free too

Nah, I dont wanna raise the back any more, I want as much drop as i can get really... without putting too much wear on the CV's. But they're fine right now. So I can just turn the keys... Like flip them over? Or turn the torsion bar one notch and put it back in the key?

oh man trup that was 4 years ago when i was reading it. i think you need to turn the bar. i was pretty active on DT and HTC at that time. i remember having the conversations and it being said not to go to far. but if you are only tring to get an inch i would think it would be fine. and is free and easily reversable

Trup, to lower the Keys on 4x4 you just back off the bolts. If they are already cranked a bit then you have lots of thread on the bolt to play with. Just don't back em off too much is what I would think!

Yeah Ive been looking around, and found a walkthrough on you-tube. Once I get the bed on... if these ****'s ever show up to help me, if it's not low enough in the front, then DOWN SHE GOES!

When I installed my ready lift keys it took about 10 or 15 adjustments to get both sides the same and in the end one bolt was in further than the other (weird) but the truck was the same height both sides. Could be because my leafs were shot also, but got new ones now so perhaps I should remeasure the front side to side. Long story Short you might be able to lower it a Tad Trup by backin em off.

Other Option is to put a heavier Motor in like a 392 LOL.

im not sure lowering it via loosening the t-bars is a good idea. as you know, tightening them raises the truck and in turn gives a harsher ride. by lowering them, you're gonna have a much softer ride. This will create more bounce on bumps, and more roll in turns. Isnt this what you were trying to eliminate before? If I were you, i'd look at a drop kit that doesnt require you to mess with the t-bars
