Aaron, in his Truck pics it looks like he has almost no rake, so not sure if the front was ever raised, what I meant was if they are already cranked up (which I do not think is good to be doing to stock keys anyway) then backing them off should lower/return it closer to stock and really shouldn't hurt anything. So I do agree with your point and if you say raising gives a harsher ride and lowering gives a softer ride then I have to assume your right about that but I found by adding 2" leveling keys to mine did not make it harsh and with the HD springs has resulted in an overall smoother ride for mine.

To stay on topic, One thing I been thinkin about is why Trup did you have to notch out the front spindles? was it because it was for a 2wd and those are different or did you get the wrong parts from Moe's? I know you mentioned something in your vid and you did get wrong cal-trac brackets.

Wonderin if that is related to the front vs the back.

Trup, Just a reminder. When you install the CalTracs you will need to remove the front spring bushing. Mine was a ***** to get out and I had the spring off when I did mine. My 2cents with the front. I believe you can just back off the adjustment bolt, if that doesn't work to your satisfaction then a drop key would be the next step. Good luck..

Yep everyone has said the easiest way whick is turn down the torision keys. Jack up the truck and turn them about 3 turns and then drop it back down, move the truck forwards and reverse a few feet to settle the sysp back out then measue it front and back ans left and right and adjust accordnly. The pass side will prob need an extra quarter taken out to level it because he drivers side tbar takes more weight normaly. Squirt down the adjuster bolts with some wd before ya do it also and be careful those bars have ALOT of weight on em.

Thanks guys! I think Ill prolly try this, and this is just providing the back is lowered more than the front. But Im pretty sure it will be. If this doesn't work how I want, Ill shell out the $200 for new keys. Im still planning on getting stiffer shocks, and honestly, with the poly bushing and everything... the front end is tight as **** now. So I wouldn't mind too much if it ended up loosening a tad.

Doesn anyone have there stock shackles that I can buy off them? Anyone that's done the drop shackles in the back?

Sorry, I'm not home for a couple more months. I'll list my stash in the spring.
