Will just 2" shackles be a suitable vs the lift shackles that are provided in the McG' 2/4.5 kits?

Fronts i will prob resort back to stock springs and keep the lowered spindles.

If you have a flip kit, then you will need the longer shackle to go up in height.

Flip kit plus lift shackles = 4" rear drop
Flip kit plus stock shackles = 6" rear drop
Flip kit plus 2" drop shackles = 8" rear drop
