how to get 8'' drop on the back ??

You could put 2" blocks on the springs. Not sure how recommended it is, but that would do it. Just like 2" lift blocks, but in reverse!

With the setup you are looking for, you may consider a "C" notch on the rear frame as chances are good your truck will bottom up real good and often. Some kits come wit the notch plates included, but they are usually easy to make yourself if you are a little handy and if you have good experience in welding, and I insist with the welding part as your truck will hang on those welds. If you don,t have appropriate welding knowledge, get a pre-built "C" notch. It will be much safer.

If you click on "go advanced" underneath to the post box here, then you click on the paper clip and upload a picture, if you can't figure out the album. Are you 2wd or 4wd? Not many lowered 4x4s on here, but I'd like to be one of them.
