My Ole girl finally left the garage after 6months of not being touched, she loved the ride till i hit the concrete going through an intersection

I can appreciate having the truck back on the road. What do you mean, hitting concrete?

2" of ground clearance, trans cross member broke up come concrete when it hit the ground, pretty common thing around here, not the first time a part of that truck has made contact with the earth lol

Gotcha, What have you done about your gas tank? My tank seems to be the low point and I've hit it a couple of times.

nada yet, it hits quite a bit, but there are ways of cutting the brackets that hold it up and moving them up re-attaching them that moves it out of the way, but on my truck my exhaust, gas tank, trans cross member and lower control arms are all at the same height, so i hit everything at once if i do a flat out slam

That's lower than I need to be. I'm good at 3/6 on 30" tires.

I would like to relocate my gas tank. I don't use it as a truck so it isn't really a inconvenience.

**** I'm on a 275/60/17 but there still short there almost about 29" tall. 17" rims get swallowed up by these trucks

I ran 275/55-17's on the SS/T rims and really liked them except for the lack of clearance between the rim and lower ball joint. I finally choose a set of 18" Durango rims.
