Hi Guys, Im new here, I have a 2005 ram daytona with 22s on it, is lowered 2" in the front and 3.5 in the rear.

I have this parts:
-rear shackles ( i don't remember the brand)
-4 bilstein shocks
-front and rear sway bar kit
-belltech 3" leaf springs (rear)
-eichback 2" sowenig springs (front)

The ride quality is better than the stock but is still very very uncomfortable when the road not nice. It jumps a lot and is very hard in the rear. do you have any suggestion? Im looking to improve it a lot because i want to get a supercharger, but first I must take care of the suspension. really need help-

thanks.
I attach some pictures so you can appreciate the real heigh, that is just perfect for me I don't want any more o less.

Hey, I am new to this forum thing to. Does it feel like it is taking the wheel out of your hand when hitting bumps?? When you lowered your truck did you put lowering shocks on it? I didn't notice in you listing of parts. Try that front and rear, you also may have bump steer. Which you can get lowering spindles to correct the rack-pinion-angle.

I have the same issue with my truck.

You have close to the same set up as me, tires and lowered height that is, but I have the Mcguaheys flip kit in back, stock shackles and drop spindal kit up front and mine rode nice , but bottomed out in heavy dips until I replaced the shocks with "performance shocks". Now it never bottoms out and handles like it's on rails. One of these were taken during some body work, but shows the ride height.

I'm lower than both your trucks an unless I'm on a real jacked up road the truck drives pretty good imo. Yea it's a lil stiff but that's to be expected

first I just change the original ones for some edelbrock IAS, the ride quality was very bad, so I change them for the bilstein but they don't have the lowering application so I just put the replacement number, thats the ones that I have high now. Wich brand do you recommend???

I recently lowered a '14 ram express. His kit was from bell tech. After I installed and aligned the truck. I drove it to make sure it was good and not pulling and making noises. the bell tech shocks did real good for being new out of the box. And rides really well. My truck has the stock shocks which rides like crap. I guess I will be going with the bell techs. Long story short..

Thank you, I will read the threads, they look like a good solution, Do you have them in your truck? one of the main problems I think is that when I have weight in the bed, It drives very nice, but when I don't have any, It jumps a lot, do you think this rubber springs could be a good solution??? the plates to attach them to the truck suspension has to be custom made?

For you guys that are lowered and especially not notched take a look at some of the threads I've posted it the past describing the use of Tembren rubber springs. They really are the solution to a lot of lowered woes. Checkout A140-65 and A155-65. There is no kits and you have to buy these individually from dealers.

Yes, the rear need flat plates made identical to the plates that come in the Mcgaughys Suspension flip kits. I've had them on my truck for 4-5 years with the last two years notched.

I saw a lowered Fourth Gen on Friday. It was pitching all over the place on bumps. I'm guessing he skimped on how he lowered it.

I see a bunch of really kick *** looking trucks. I like the idea of those rubber springs, that'll be one of the first things I try. My issues currently consist of loss of control on very bumpy roads and I believe the primary contributor is my 24 inch dubs! I run 315/35/24 tires which are pretty low in profile...looks bitchen, but ride is suffering as are all components attaching... Truly a bummer!
My control arms, ball joints, tired wearing negative camber in a bad way! I am at a loss. I have been considering a camber kit but don't have a clue which one. Bell tech sounds good!
Do any of you gentlemen or ladies have any input on the subject?

Dude, that looks bitchen with the silver flames. I have the same exact color blue and wanted to do the same thing except ghost flames.

Has anyone tried a caster camber kit?

I'd like to try a castor camber kit to fix my negative camber! I have options and I'm having a difficult time deciding which brand to choose. Moog, bell tech, AC delco, etc. don't know which way to go!

The Caster/chamber adjuster kits only help make stock adjustments. The first thing is are you using drop spindles? They help a lot to retain stock geometry. And if you are set up where the stock adjustments can't be made then figure out what you need to do to move the adjustments into range. It may take manufacturing longer slots or moving the adjustment points to a new location that puts you into range. I was lucky in that I could grind the slots longer and get into range with my 4 inch drop.
