hey ram fans,
im new to this site.
sooooo i have a 2003 single cab dodge ram,
i lowered the back with a flip kit, and installed 2 inch dropped shackles.
thats not the issue im worried about,
the front is where i messed up by cutting the springs i think to much,
and now the lower control arms are sitting on the bumpstop,
so when i go on a bump it jumps repetitively
also it has a big noticeable negative camber.
what can i do to keep it that low but without using the cut springs.?

what yall guys suggest?

I recommend that you should take this to the 3rd gen section, this is the section for 09-13 and people here might not be as knowledgeable on your truck as those other guys. hope they can help you though

What amount of drop are you trying to get in the front?

A flip kit in the rear with 2" drop shackles is going to give 7-8" of rear drop. Is that what you saw on yours? The only way to properly get the correct amount of drop up front to match this is with a set of 2" drop spindles combined with drop springs. You are also going to have to C-notch the rear and get some stronger shocks to prevent from bottoming out on every pothole in the road. Going that low is not cheap and cant be done by just cutting springs.

yes i have the c notch already, i just need to install it thats all.
i was thinking getting the djm lower control arms and drop springs,
but then i looked at the price and its a bit expensive....
i saw the spindles at the price for 500,
do you know any place i can get them cheaper?

right now i think its dropped 8 inches from the back,
but not sure about the front,
the only thing i know its more dropped from the front than the back.

i will probably get a 2inch drop block to go lower, or maybe 4.

Can you post a pic of how your truck sits now? Also, what size tires are you running? I can get you a set of the spindles for $450.

That doesn't look that is much over a 3/5 drop. Do you still have the OEM bump stops installed? If so then you are sitting on them and not the springs. The front cups need to be removed. Typically they have two spot welds holing them, grind the weld you can reach and then drive a chisel under them to break them off. I use Tembren rubber springs to contol the slap on mine. The rear I would guess is the same, ie you are sitting on the bumps or if much deeper than 5 you are on the frame. Again I use Tembren on the rear which are passive and do not raise the hieght and adds 1320# of load capcity. I would recommend 2" spindles and a trimmed spring to adjust your hieght to the tires. Once you are actually riding the springs you can then adjust the hieght to what you want. There are limits to what you can do with stock suspension 4/6 being about max using a notch. More you are fabricating custom pieces and cutting up the frame both front and back.
My drop is 3/5 and is lower than it looks because of the tire to fender relationship.
