Lowering shackle help!?

right now i have a 3" lift on my truck, but ive been considering taking it off..i dont really want a lowering kit but just level it with shackles, do any of you have pics of your trucks with JUST shackles? i wanna get an idea of what it would look like. thank you for any help!

S1S 2" shackles w/ overloads removed. Hard to tell visually but before and after measures were about 2.5". Big difference was how easier it was to get in and out of the bed.

2in drop shack... the tires are 265/40r22. hence the big gap in the rear wheel well. when I had 45's on it looked better.

Not to thread jack but do the shackles still have a smooth ride and is there any squeaking?

I didn't notice any difference in ride quality, but i barely even noticed that it was dropped 2" as well.
Hence why I went lower lol, but mine didn't squeak either

i think the pic you posted of yours with just shackles is exactly how id want mine to sit, looks great...what brand did you use.

Most drop shackles will give you just under 2" of rear drop. They will not affect your ride quality. In order to make it sit completely level with the front, you will need to either remove your overload leaf or add spring clamps. Removing the overload is going to limit how much weight you can put in the bed, and spring clamps are going to make the ride fairly stiff.

I used the McGaughy's 2" shackles
