I think I may need some shocks. I have no idea what ones to get, I was thinking either bilstein or Monroe shocks. The only problem I have is that I have a 2-4" drop kit and I don't know if I need the special lowered shocks or stock length ones. Some input would be nice. Thanks

I think a lot of people like the Bell Tech street performance shocks. Length would depend on how your truck is lowered. If it is spindles up from you would need stock length, springs would need 2" lowered. In the rear some kits come with extenders for the stock shocks. If you have those you can get stock length, or you can remove the extenders and get 4" lowered shocks for the rear.

So I think I need the special lowered shocks then. My lowering is done with springs and lowering leafs. Thanks

For anyone using the Belltech Street Performance shocks, which part number are you using for the rear? Looks like the 2212FF is the correct shock for a 2002 1500 SLT.

There is no difference in shocks between the RC, QC, or CC. The only difference in the kits is the spring rates of the coils.

And the ones included in the kits are designed to work on the 2/4 kits, but they will also work with the 3/5. If you have stock shocks or Nitro Drops, then I can see the ride being very bouncy. The Street Performance shocks are stiffer and will get rid of most of that bounce.

Then I'm not sure what else it could be I had the rims before I dropped it so I don't think its them and I do have the street performance shocks but since I dropped it its been bouncy going to 3/5 and the airlift actually helped a litlle

I did get these shocks used so that might be it but he claimed he only had them on 1k miles and the looked good
