I'm curious cause I know the 2nd gen could receive them. But can the 3rd gen 1500 take a 2500 coil and leaf system. I know it gave the 2nd gen like a 2 in lift and HD system?

Technically anything is possible with Fab work. Sure you could update it, but you'd have to do a SAS (solid axle swap) up front. It'd be a sweet conversion, but only if you have the funds to do so.

If it was an 06-09 you could use the coil spring up front, but If you are thinking of doing that on your 03, then you'd have to do a SAS like usaf2006 mentioned.

The only 1500 that you could do what your thinking is the Megacab because they are SA front axles built on a 2500 frame but then they also come with 2500 front springs already and the rear is just 1 leaf short I think.
