Howdy folks,

Found a company in Michigan that makes coils springs for 06-08 Ram 1500 4wds (non-mega cab) that lift 1", 1.5" or 2" over stock. Best part is they're about $240 shipped!

I'm assuming that'd be a better option than 2" coil spacers. My only concern is over-extending the shocks. What are your thoughts?

Also, what else should be taken into consideration when doing lift coils vs spacers? Anything?

On an 06 and up 1500 4wd I don't know why anyone would even consider spacers. Bilstein 5100s ride great, are adjustable, won't tear up your suspension components like spacers, and I believe are under 200 for a pair.

It's cool that someone is offering the springs, IMO the bilsteins are a better option for leveling and they're less money.

I have spacers and my shocks don't seem bothered. I was actually excited to see this thread, until I saw that they excluded the megacab.

They have coils for the mega cabs I assume, I'm just posting for coil over strut 1500s in particular.

I've been looking for 2" leveling coils but when I've found mega cab ones, they only work for diesel. It's no big deal

Since a mega cab is a 1500 with 2500ish suspension, I thought diesel lift coils would work. They'd probably lift a little higher than they advertise.

That's what it said. They are setup for the weight of the diesel. I'd like to just find some 2" lift ones for the hemi. I'll keep looking.

Not to hijack but for anyone with megacab models, there is also hope. I've talked with summit racing and the skyjacker d25 springs will fit and are rated 2.5" lift.
