Newbie to Dodge pick-ups, I haven't even bought the truck yet, just doing some investigating....
Here's my plan....
I have a set of 37/12.50/20 Nitto Dune Grapplers off my 2003 Durango I'd like to put on a pickup.
I think I've found a cheap 2002 3500 Diesel Duallie with a 8' bed so my 6x6 ATV will fit in the bed with the tailgate down. Bonus !!! It will mainly tow my Suzukis on a trailer (1 at a time)
Mods: Stying: the Dualies already have the flared rear fenders so I'm thinking of a set of flared pre-runner type fenders for the front. Fiberworx say 37s will clear with a leveling kit.
What do you guys think ? I really don't want to play with the front suspension too much as I want to keep the running gear as stock as possible for reliability.
I'd rather do a body lift than a suspension lift just to keep the geometry stock.
What will have to be done for rear clearance ?
I realise I'll have to get lower r&ps.
