I never heard of bilstiens when I was gonna do the shocks. So I was able to get the rears, but not the fronts. (They are actually struts.) Special order. So I went ahead with the monroes,For the rear, It helped the ride somewhat. After some forum jumping, I heard of a dilemma with bilstiens .Everyone was looking for them,They offered a level and a new shock all in one. First tried shock warehouse, back ordered for a month. Then I went too moe's. a week later I was installing them, albeit trying to install them. Too much for my driveway, and limited tools. Had a nearby garage do it. But thats how I ended up with different shocks.
