Default Can I fit 33's?
I have an 05 quad cab 2wd with the 2" lift maxtrac springs and the factory 17" chrome clads which have 265/70/17's on them now, they are pretty close to the upper control arms. Can I get a 33" tire and if not I guess the biggest I can go is a 275/70/17 right?

How close is close? My truck is stock with the same wheels and tires, and my tire is about .5 -.75" away from my control arm.

If your distance is about the same, you should be able to fit 33s fine. Just make sure the sidewalls aren't too aggressive and knobby.

285/70r17s, which are equivalent to 33s, would be skinnier than 33/12.50r17s
