Are you wanting a 35x12.5 tire? If so, the metric size is 315/60R20.

I though 305 was the equivalent to 12.5 inch wide.

Like 305/55/20 = 33x12.5x20

also I just noticed that you have an 06 and want to use the stock 20's. With any tire wider than 285, you most likely will need a 1/4" spacer. I say most likely because not all truck are made exactly the same and there have been some 06-08 rams that have fit 35x12.5x20 on the stock 20's with no rubbing, but there have been many that have had rubbing on the upper control arm.

2" level and anything 12.5 and over will require you to trim the rear section of fender .

I though 305 was the equivalent to 12.5 inch wide.

Like 305/55/20 = 33x12.5x20

~ = approximately

1. 315/60R20 = ~35x12.40R20
2. 35x12.50R20 = 318/~60R20
3. 305/55R20 = 33x12R20

1. Section Width: 12.40 in 315 mm
2. Section Width: 12.51 in 318 mm
3. Section Width: 12.00 in 305 mm

1. Overall Diameter: 34.88 in 885.95 mm
2. Overall Diameter: 35.02 in 889.50 mm
3. Overall Diameter: 33.20 in 843.28 mm

1. Sidewall Height: 7.44 in 188.97 mm
2. Sidewall Height: 7.51 in 190.75 mm
3. Sidewall Height: 6.60 in 167.64 mm

1. Radius: 17.44 in 442.97 mm
2. Radius: 17.51 in 444.75 mm
3. Radius: 16.60 in 421.64 mm

1. Circumference: 109.5 in 2781.3 mm
2. Circumference: 110.0 in 2794 mm
3. Circumference: 104.3 in 2649.2 mm

and i think the 06+ require a wheel spacer

great tire calulator here http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp

Im sure you already thought about all this.... but do you plan on doing much/any wheeling? Not gonna have a lotta room for articulation with 2in level and 35s, hell, probably none. I know there isn't really a whole lotta room with what I have, which are just 33's....

p.s. Im not exactly sure about the b/s and all that on the 20's, but I'm rubbing on full lock with an approx. 11.5in wide tire.... better plan on spacers ;)

Idk if the half inch makes a lot of difference, but I have 35's on a 2.5 inch level and have no rubbing at all with after market wheels. I was told it was going to rub with the stock 20's so I just got a whole new set up. When it comes to wheeling, those guys are right, you aren't going to have much flex room..especially if your turning.

BTW if you need any spacers I have some if you're interested.

The occasional light trail but nothing involving tons of flex...I'm familiar with trimming inner fenders as I had 285 75's on my Dakota with a slight That crank...Love stuffin those wells...Unfortunately well priced aggressive tread 35's are hard to find for 20's :-(

I have the federal couragia m/ts on stock 20s. I paid $1300 for everything but people have found them for about 75% of that online. I have 1.5in spacers
