Hello Gents,

I have an 04 Ram QC Laramie with the pro comp MX6 6" lift kit on it... recently replaced all 4 shocks but my truck has a kicker shock that goes from the frame to rear dif...
I want to replace this but cannot find part # or any other info on it , all I can find is one for a viper truck im assuming the one I need is longer since I'm lifted???
Thanks

Srt Ram kicker shock part # Bilstein 24-025508

I've never seen anything like that on our rams. Maybe post a picture... give us a better idea of what you're looking for.

It's a shock absorber that mounts to the top of the dif housing and goes to a mount on the frame
It's supposed to prevent axle wrap and wheel hop and just generally improve handling.
I replaced all 4 shocks recently and couldn't find a part # on this so hoping one of y'all would have gone through same process
Here's a pic
Thanks

You're best bet would probably be too measure it and maybe write a shock company and have them get you a part number of similar size

That an eBay exhaust kit?

Yeah maybe I'll swing in to 4 wheel parts and ask them... I'll try to measure tomorrow...
As for exhaust idk, I bought the truck with it on there had a pro-flo 2into1 and sounded terrible
So I replaced with supper 44
Much much better

Ok so update for whom ever wants to know
Apparently these came factory on the Srt Rams or at least the Reg Cabs, I think for those of us who run lift kits most trucks now use ladder bars or lateral Track bars to prevent rear axle play forward/reverse. I guess the guy I bought truck from decided this would be a good mod .... oh well guess I'll just order another Pro Comp shock to replace the one that's there
Here is some info from vipertruck.com
If anyone cares here's the link

I've found a couple Srt forums where those guys swear by it ...idk
I have it so I'll replace it ...may drive around with out before I install new one to see if I notice any difference

I don't think your experiencing much wheel hop in a 4x4, my regular cab will barely spin the 35's on dry pavement , those are made for a 500hp srt side stepping a tremic 6 speed. I'd just cut it off.
