So I've got an opportunity to buy some brand spankin' new Kore high angle cv joints for a fraction of the cost of them bought from Kore. I'm pretty sure my cv's are going bad or already bad hence the loud clunking in my front end. If anyone could fill me in on these vs stock cv's, that'd be great! Should I pull the pricey trigger?

Well, if your drive axle cv angles are extreme, and you can get these for a good price, I'd do it.

I guess what I'm asking is why should I buy these over OEM's. I don't know a whole lot about these other than the fact that they are basically bomb proof

How much more are they than the OEM ones?
Personally I would opt for the Kore over the OEM esp. if you can get a killer deal.

They're several hundred more per joint, but I can get a set of 2 for 600, compared to the 800 you'd pay straight from Kore

Emailed KORE yesterday to find out everything I need to do the install. I got this back. I admit it would be a huge undertaking for a beginner wrench like me...
Hello Will this is Tim with KORE,
We highly recommend you have a professional install your cv's. There are some critical steps you must take, just not a good idea if it will be your first time installing cv's. If you have any questions please call us (760) 855-1219.
Thanks again, KORE

I'm sure like most projects it will have its challenges, but I can't see it being that bad of a job. Did they give you any kind of instructions with it?

And if you decide you don't want to mess with them, I know somebody who could take them off your hands.

Yeah I read the extremely detailed instructions and it looks like a little too much for me... I basically have to cut the old joint off and attach the new ones to the old half shafts.
