I have a leveled out 2004 quad cab. It has the 20in wheels. It's been leveled 3in. Wanting to see about going with a 17in wheel, and possibly putting 35's under it. Few questions. Is it possible to squeeze 35's under it with only 3in of level in the front? Would 35's on 20in wheels look better than 17's? Not a big fan of 20in wheels, or atleast the ones I have.

35's will fit with the right wheel offset. As far as 17 vs 20, thats all personal preference. Me personally I like the 20's over 17, but thats just me.

Would a positive offset or a negative offset be better. I am looking to put on 17x9 on my 04 and the wheels have a +20mm offset with 315/70R17. I would like to make sure that this wheel will not rub on the control arm. Can anyone help me with this?

Negative offset will push the wheels out for more clearance. Diameter aside, those wheels are similar to the OE specs.
