Ok y'all I never done this before so I need some assistance. I own a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 slt Hemi 5.7 4 door 4x4, its sittin on a 6 inch BDS suspension lift kit with 35 x 12.50 R17. I need to replace the front end bit would like it to be more heavy duty then what came from the factory. My question is can I replace the 1500 front end with a 2500 front end with no problem? If not where can I buy a more stout heavy duty front end that will not run me a ton of money? Thank you in advanced.

Swapping axles, especially a solid axle swap (SAS) is very expensive unless if you do all your own fab work and have a donor truck. What's your reasoning for needing to replace it?
