2002 dodge ram 1500: emblem removal

best plan is prolly to drill hole in back and push out. mine was attached with silicone. i ruined mine by using heat gun. warped and almost broke the silver part. silver part delicate. you want to get to black part and using screw driver pry out.
i searched and did not get answer to this. shame shame shame.
silver part is glued to black part. maybe take silver part off with wd40. drilling from behind seems most promising. but thx for zero help.
