Anyone ever added the srt10 body kit to a 2003 model? I'm looking to do it myself.

I did it for my 08, you will need to get the front cover from an 05 but as far as the rest of the kit, you can get them off an 04-06. But be warned, it will take patience to find the parts and they are very expensive. Took me 2 years to get all of them and spent at least $2000 before paint.

Any year hood will work, 04-05 front bumper, and then the other parts from either a RC or QC (whichever you have). As stated, this will be expensive and will take a while. I've seen full sets of RC ground effects on ebay for about $1500. Also will need to reroute your exhaust since where your stock exhaust exits and where the 10 exhaust exits are two different spots. Then comes the ridicule from real SRT10 owners lol.

Factory body parts or fiberglass? If factory that is an unbelievable price. I paid for 450 for one door panel cladding.

They're factory body parts. They're on a totaled truck the guys just trying to sell. I wish I had the cash. I'd go pick it all up.

Right about the exhaust just had mine done.

SRT10 owners are fine with it as long as you don't go slapping SRT10 emblems all over it and trying to race.

Is this a RC or QC? Does the hood come with it as well?

I've owned and SRT10 , they're not that fast at all. They're heavier than the standard hemi short beds. The srt10 has a 2500 chassis. Trust me, it will happen :)

That can be fixed with a little more money, I saw some Viper motors at a salvage yard for 2K a couple months ago. I don't know what the mileage was, but they looked mint.

They don't sound right to me. I'll take a V8 any day of the week. Besides, look at Freddie's 05...mid 12's with a 5.7 based 392 :naughty:

Yeah, I'm not fond of the sound myself... There's a guy down the street from me that a 2nd gen with a regular V10 and sometimes it sounds like a 24V 5.9 Cummins, but I would (only guessing because I haven't looked) bet that the aftermarket for the Viper motor is pretty small.

Other way round, LOTSA stuff for the Viper engine, jack **** for the regular truck version

Well, I was only guessing so... Viper motor doesn't interest me except for in the actual Viper, although my uncles AMG V12 was interesting, but not practical.

Viper stuck was outrageously expensive. One reason I essentially sold mine. It was insane. And with the truck being as heavy, the only real thing power wise was a blower or turbo. And that was always a kit from 6k to 12k. No thanks. I'll take a 5.7 hemi truck any day over the srt10.
