Interested in the duraflex/extremedimensions srt10 ram clone hood.

Welcome to Extreme Dimensions :: Inventory Item :: 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 / 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 2500 3500 Duraflex SRT Look Hood - 1 Piece

these are like $250 on various sites

I'm currently stockpiling parts to re-paint my truck, and turn it into a ram-runner-ish clone. 2007 ram.

my bedsides are going, so was looking at the fiberwerks fenders and bedsides, and an Nfab pre-runner bumper, to complete the ram runner (although 3rd gen) look.

anyways..anyone got one of these? i have seen a few reviews saying they are fine, and a few saying they are junk. i understand you get what you pay for..but this isn't a show truck. Its essentially my tow rig, and daily work truck. It'll have a thousand dollar paint job at best. but in the same sense...i guess i don't want the hood to be crooked and look like it was melted in an oven.

comments, thoughts, experiences?

see these mentioned alot, but have not seen anyone buy one, or install one. especially on a 3rd gen.

My body has an aftermarket fiberglass one, I don't have a picture of it but it didn't line up all that well. The gaps on the edges aren't even and and the back left corner sticks up higher.

Above is my truck with a factory steel srt10 hood. 900 at the dealer.

Thanks! So was that this specific hood? Truthfully my factory one doesn't have the best gaps or edges lol.

I should proofread my posts before posting. I meant to say my buddy has an aftermarket fiberglass one that doesn't fit well. Mine OEM srt10 hood pictured above fits much better than his

gotcha, thanks.

If my stock one didn't have a few baseball dents in it, I'd just keep it, but i'm replacing everything on it when paint day comes...i figure if its only $250-400 i'm in for trying it. Hopefully someone has this exact one that can chime in.Guess we'll see.
