Tapped them in with my cargo lamps. They were originally intended to be mounted under a car as "underglow"

I've done two sets now
My dads '11 Ram, tapped in 12v power of the trailer wiring, weather proof switch by the tailgate and 4-1 ft ledstrips off of eBay

I started doing the same on my girlfriends truck too, I have a 4 ft strip in the toolbox and a 2ft strip in the bed with three more that I need to put in still

You could probably use 2-1 ft strips and still have plenty of light

Do you by chance have a step by step on how to do that? I got my dad a set of LED's for his '10 but wasn't sure how to hook them up.

These are similar to what I used for mine. They are nice because you can cut them to the exact length you need. I just stuck mine up under the box rails and they work awesome.
