clunking noise after removing step bars

I removed my old step bars today and installed a set of amp-research power steps it took a long time but install went well.I took the truck down the road afterwards and now I'm getting a loud clunk from the front end area when I hit bumps or turn.the truck was fine earlier today before everything was done any one have any ideas what this could be they would be greatly appreciated

is the step possibly moving on that side? With the step retracted on that side, can you move it with your hand?

no steps are tight and working correctly
