Found these rims on local craigslist for $300 obo. I wrote the guy asking if lugs come with, but I'm assuming stock ones wouldn't work.

Anyone have any clue what brand these are? Just says they came off a 2005 dodge ram, and needs new tires, which I think the current ones are 305/40s based on zooming in on the picture lol

You'll need some low pro lugs for those wheels. If you get them, make sure that you check for taco shells where they hit potholes or curbs.

What about some cheap steelies? 17x9s?

Now you're using your thinking cap! That's the route I was gonna go then I found the wheels I have now and nobody else had them on their truck. Sadly, a couple months later I went to eat and a damn 2500 Ram had the same wheels, a 3rd gen as well:flipthebird: I said well, time to get new wheels, wife said I don't think so:wtf2:

I'm planning on keeping this truck for quite a while, so longevity is a priority as well.

Don't sweat it man, everybody is tight these days. Modding has been way reduced for me these days so I just do what I can.

These are the wheels I was gonna do, still thinking...

Nice. I was wanting something around 4.5" backspacing, and I found some vision wheels from Summit, I think they were $90 each. Either that or I was going to go with Black Rock rims, which all look the same as those procomps, and they're about $90-$96 each.

Yeah, the way I see it, I have a 4WD so whether I use every now and again or never I have it and I don't wanna put some wheels that I gotta worry about damaging if I gotta wheel it a bit. I gotta 4WD to use no to look pretty, but I do like it cleaned up, Derek and with both bedlined trucks before long so no more worries about scratches.

Yeah, I've been following his thread religiously. I keep it as an open tab on my phone haha. Will stock lug nuts work with this style of steel rim? I just bought some new lugs cause my chrome caps were all busted off, but I'll return them if I have to buy new lugs in the end... again lol.

Yeah, the factory lugs will work with those wheels since they don't recess in the wheel.

how much over stock? I'm not sure what size tires i wanna go with.. my truck is basically a commuter for work, and i only go about 15 miles a day, 4 days a week, so I'd be okay with a mileage loss from 35s lol.

They'll stick out about 1/2" - 1", I would say stay with 33's. I have 35's and can't wait till these wear and I can get another set of 33's, worst decision I made. Just goes to show that running 35's like everyone else is not as great as it's cut up to be.
