I also bought a bed from a junkyard that doesn't have rust on the wheel wells, but I'm still prepping it for install, weatherproofing it

I hate chrome also. My truck has almost none (well except for the badges). But you have to admit that a little chrome does look good on some trucks.

Im down to just the bumper sidesteps grill and inside the headlights (I dont mind the grill and lights, but bumpers and side steps gotta go)

Looks much better. Did the same thing with my '98 Dakota after my first Deer strike. Had the body shop shoot the entire front end all the same color. Got rid of the black bumper cap, looked like the R/T's.

No. I bought a new one piece bumper for the front and a paintable bumbler for the rear, new grille and new lights
