Day time running lights

I've been toying with a few ideas for some DRLs. I have heads with LED halos and I think that I've decided I want to hook them up as DRLs. I came across this part LED Daytime Running Light DRL Relay Harness Auto Control on Off Switch Chrysler | eBay I'm skeptic that it's really this easy and cheap. Does anyone have any experience with this DRL switch?

I have one of those myself. Used it in my daughters soon to be truck and t=it works fine. Just follow the instructions and you will be fine.

That unit is pretty easy to connect up. Now I did not get mine off E-Bay but I recognize it as being the exact one I have. Just hook up the lights and the trigger wires, then the ground and positive battery. Turn the truck on and turn on your running/parking lights. Might have to do it a couple times to get it right. Not exactly sure how it tells when to turn on and off but with LeD's the amp draw is minimal. :happy160:
