so i decided tonite after cleaning my tb... to remove my headlights and do something with those frickin orange bars on the bottom of my 06

and about a week ago i painted the chrome bars in the grill gloss black as well...

i thought it looked good till i saw a few others running around town with the same thing... thought i was gonna be different... oh well

here we go

you dont realize how big the lights are until you have them out of the truck...

scary part one done... was scared to break the light when taking it apart even tho i did bake them

you so should of painted them while you had them open!!! damn oh well looks good though!!!

eye lids are next body matched but i wanted to leave the chrome didnt think that the black would look right with the chrome grill on a silver truck... gotta be different some how lol

i would go with the color match from your autozone and then i cant remeber the name of the clear to use but i would get the best one they have and spare no expense whe it comes to clear

You don't even really need to clear coat it inside of your headlight housing? i didn't and mine still looks good, i used a black enamel paint incase it gets a little warm in there

The lights came out great. I actually like that you kept the chrome. It looks better to me that way than painted on silver trucks.
