Yea the '06 and older 3rd gens had the flat style tail lights.. Same shape so they should mount up the same

The wiring harness plug for the tail lights are different on the 05/06 Rams from the 07/08 models. See photos attached, 1st is the bulb circuit board used on the 02-06 models, other two show bulb arrangement for 07-08 models. I replaced mine with LED models to get a much better look. My 07' had flat lens tail lights when I purchased it in 2013. I ordered LED tail lights to replace them, only to discover the previous owner had installed 05' tail lights with wiring harness. I then ordered LED tail lights for a 05/06' model, they fit perfectly. I didn't feel like rewiring the truck. I still have the LED tail lights that I first ordered.

I paid $235.00 for the 07' pair of LED tail lights. The photo is of them, which are still new in the original box.

You're not in or near Georgia on the off chance are you? I dig those tail lights and would trade you for my flat style. Otherwise you can hit up a junk yard for them. I'd still be interested if you would get me a shipping quote. As long as they're not cracked at all

I've been looking to change out to the 06 and earlier lights for a while now. I hate LED tail so I'm going to do the mod to get 06 to work with my 07 harness.
