Door handle removal?

Anyone know how to do this? Ive done some searching but all i find is **** on 4th gens and how much of a pain jn the ass it is lol thanks yall. Thinking bout dipping my door and tailgate handles camo

Remove the door panel, pull away the plastic weather barrier and you'll see the two nuts holding the handle in. Pop the rods off the handle (be careful not to break the plastic clips that hold the rods on) and remove the two nuts.

It's actually really easy on the 3rd Gen., especially when compared to the 4th Gens. Just remove the interior door panels and you'll be able to see the linkage and nuts holding the handles on.
