Engine Bay Dress Up Pictures

Thanks for providing some ideas.

Here are a couple of pics of mine. Per some nice ideas here i have quite a few other pieces and touch ups going in but its a start though.

Please keep posting pics of your dress up bays..

Before pictures that really open my eyes of how the bay was neglected.

Detail to make way for a well deserving make over.

No - its a Carbon Fiber LMI Intake. Vendor on LX forums. Got it about a week after i placed the order. I would buy a used Aria but never new from Lance.

So it looks great....... BUT HOWS IT RUNNING NOW WITH THE NEW CAM, HEADS AND INTAKE?????????

This thread is about dressing up the engine bay not the oomph behind it ....heh.
Buuut-
feather throttle around 60 on the trek home due to weather and just being tired (left at 3am). Sean base /crank up tune provided no issues at crank up or the drive home. and AFR was around 14.8-15.2 during the drive with no stalls at the lights. Idle is around 750rpm. Only codes i have is EGR related since i put in the block off plate. Sean can turn off that sensor on the next revision.

Arriving to Tucson did not help as we got hit with a heavy fog so i just kept below the speed to make it home.

Been in the garage since coming home and getting over the 24hr install stretch and catching up with chores at home.

Prob' try some WOT logs early Tuesday morning.

Oh and just got the heads back from getting valve checked, new retainers/keepers and milled a day before install. Good ole last minute as always.

Gotcha.....and yeah.

I never kept up on the LX intakes, I just knew there were a LOT of the same type out there!

Yeah but not much available for Rams with 6.1 manifolds and the LXers has a wide market for them.

Even at not seeing 3k i was able to feel the difference. See how it goes when the pavement is dry again.

Next year when I redo mine, I am probably going to have a box made, and powder coat it.

We have a member over on SEM that is going to be making some half covers like the LX guys use in their engine bays for the Ram Hemi's and hopefully the 4.7's

Thats the way to go. Me - i am just going to go back and get another v-tech paintable battery cover and paint it.

Cool. Got some 6.1 hemi coil covers that had the 6.1 shaved. Painted but just need to get a part form the dealership then they can go on.
