Hey everybody,

So I would like to put some flares on my 09 2500. I want to go with rivet style flares. My concern is the width. I imagine that wide flares over tires that are too narrow look pretty awful. The narrowest rivet flares I have found are 2.5 inches. So how wide of tires do I need so that they won't look like I put a muscle tshirt on an IT guy?

Lol I like your comparison. I have the stampede brand pocket style fender flares and they only have a 2" coverage, main reason I got them cause they were even with how far my tires stick out.

I have the same dilemma. I've been buying/not buying for over a year.
Just too chicken to pull the trigger.
I'm not paying hundreds of bucks and there are plenty of options out there for a buck fifty or less but I choke when it comes time to actually purchase something.

I really want pockets but don't want them sticking way out past the tires.
I have stock sized Goodyear off road type so they are a little beefier than a standard stock/highway tire.
Ugh...maybe next year.

Thanks for the input guys.

Does anybody else know of any "narrower than usual" pocket style fender flares?
