Well went out to a salvage yard and got quoted 300-600 for a new bumper... even though its just the part underneath the grill.. the chrome part of the bumper that has the fog lights is fine.. Just thought that was ridiculous. They could not order just the part i needed, but it would've been the entire bumper. So guess i am waiting on fixing my bumper.

Check rockauto.com I'm sure you can get a new reproduction part for much much less.

yeah I would check with some of our vendors too, sounds like you just need the bumper cap/cover and those can definitely be bought separately from the chrome piece.

thanks! great site, every part i would ever need seems to be on there haha. Just have to determine which bumper part it is now, thinking its bumper cover.. but thanks man

Similiar issue here. I needed a heater element for my dryer. Local vendor $75, online with OE parts $50. I asked the local guy if he could give me a break because I really need it and he wouldn't. I guess I'll just have to take some clothes to Mom's till the new one gets here. I wouldn't have minded at all paying them 55 or 60, but 75 is crossing the line.
