I tried the Blue ones for about 40 bucks and they melted the Plug harness after one week which cost more than the bulbs themselves so switched back to OEM. Alot of headlamp experts on here will chime in and tell you what you need to do to prevent such problems, etc. Good Luck and welcome!

Nick, the fun part with the HIDs on the 02-05 Rams.......well, the trucks are PICKY! Damn computers. :D

A good kit for your truck with the right harnesses and a lifetime warranty........would run about $115.

can you post up the link of the ones you found? If anything, I want to make sure the wiring you are getting isn't crap that won't work for your truck. ;)

That was probably a good decision. Our trucks just don't play nice with hids because of the way our trucks sense a lamp out. The computer constantly sends a low voltage signal to the bulb, not enough to light it up, just enough to check for resistance and determine if the bulb is blown. Because of this we can't just use a standard cheapy harness like every other car on the road. We have to use a harness with resistors.
