Srt10 hood scoop? Or just a 1 off hood that you made or saw that was manufactured.

You going for just looks or function too? You can get this stick-on one if you don't want to buy a whole new hood:

Pretty much just looks. It can be functional. I don't care, whatever looks best

Ok. if it's just looks, I'd go for that stick-on one. The functional one would look "better", but that would hurt the wallet pretty bad.

The real SRT10 hoods really arent to functional
If you dont mind the outline of the scoop go with the stick on

I kinda want to buy a cheap hood, and the viper grill insert and cut a hole and lower the fron part, raise the farther up part, and insert the insert

The scoop on the viper hoods actually creates a low pressure area so it doesnt pull much air into the engine

If it was that simple we would all do it.

Yeah, it's just that I want mine to be seemless. I'm picky about that kind of stuff, than again. It's my truck. I want it how I want it

Maybe try finding a used hood and fiberglassing the scoop into it. I havent seen it done on a ram but have seen other hoods done.
I'm not sure there are really many truely functional hoods for rams other then the shaker (cant say I've seen a ram air hood for them but they are probably out there)

Yeah. A shaker good on my truck would be impossible. There's nothing to shake. My engine is tiny. I'm about to get my friend to weld on a custom hood, like the challenger rt hood. Or a Srt. Then paint etc.

I had a stick on scoop on my truck for about 2 months on my stock hood to see if I liked the look, then spend the coin in a new SRT-10 hood. Check out Rockets truck from the look of it, it has the same stick on one I had. Mine was held on with 3m 2-way tape and not drilled like the kit suggests due to I knew mine wasnt staying on long. There will be a seem that you will have to fill or live with untill you change the whole hood.
