Laramie bumper cover

Along with my grill idea, I have also been tossing the idea around of a Laramie bumper cover. I have read that they can be put over the chrome bumper easily. I have always liked the look of them. Would that be too poser-ish since I don't have a Laramie?

i have been thinking of doing this as well Wendy.. But I have yet to see a truck with a bumper cover just didn't understand how that all really worked. But would love to see some pictures.

ive thought about this too and ive read somewhere that it will got over the chrome part if you take the top part off but i dont know where i read it at. ill look if i can find it

Yes, it will go over the chrome part! Just need the Laramie cover.

I didn't know either, I did some searching and found out that it's actually a coverup. I was happy when I read that. That it would go straight over the chrome bumper.

I found it out on Dan's thread. I did a search on here and was like Yah! it just a cover. lol

Oops, missed the earlier post about trimming. I had read that that was something that might have to be done.

Yeah just need to find the time to get up to my buddies place to make the brackets to mount the 07 bumper. I also got the rear to paint

Yeah, it's hard to find time to do that stuff. Or other stuff comes up that takes precedence. I gotta take my truck to the dealer over the squealing so that's gonna be $$ I could have used towards mods lol

I actually did the full swap on mine. Brackets and all for the sport bumper. I did a LOT of reading on this...let me see if I can find it for ya.
