Yup, the 6" hellas. I was running their black magic series behind my grille. Just mount them directly to the cross member in front of the rad and you're good to go.

Another way to munt lights back there is to get a 48" piece of aluminum angle iron from Home Depot. You will need to cut a couple inches off it. Mount it to the end pieces where the upper radiator support mounts too, then you can mount 4 lights there. I installed a couple yellow LED lights this way and they look cool. Plus I have the Hela Blacm Magics mounted on the lower radiator support. When I can get a pic of the install I will.

Hela's are not exactly cheap, but most auto parts stores have them.

You get what you pay for. If you want something that will last a long time then buy quality first. Otherwise be prepared to cuss and swear at yourself as you spend 2 times as much to get some new lights. I use the "Buy CHeap, buy twice" anacronyme myself. If I cannot afford something then I save up for it and do without for a while until I have the cash to get what I want. Too many times I made the mistake of buying cheap.

Sure, here are two more from today. You'll have to forgive the truck not being quite as clean as that other picture! Here you can see how it looks with the hood up and how much of the radiator/AC heat exchanger is obscured. Operating temps even while towing are no different which is nice.

In this second one you can see how tight the tolerances between the bar, mounting tab and grille assembly are. It's cozy, but there's no contact between anything that shouldn't be touching. The other thing to note, my phone is aimed up slightly which is why the horizontal grille slat looks to be covering the first row of leds. Light output is probably 90 or 95 percent of what it is with the hood up. This mounting option keeps it stealthy, and makes my bar harder to steal!

Is that a 40" as well? How much do those run?

Ha i got this one off of ebay for about $120, its a 100% flood pattern so its less desireable but the 100% flood pattern is what i wanted, not like the truck will be doing any off roading anytime soon lol!

looks sweet

Thanks!

Yeah, I'll put one or two up when it's light outside. But it's simply the standard Rigid Industries mounting feet with the bar put on the middle set of holes. I just drilled two holes into the front support structure under the hood, painted the drilled holes and bolted everything together with 1/4" x 20 stainless hardware. Oh, I also had to shim each foot with a small ID / large OD washer to keep the back of the bar from rubbing.

Demonhemi, any pics of how you mounted your bar down where the tow hooks would be? I don't have them on my truck and honestly think I could fab better ones myself so that area is vacant and might need some light to fill it!
