after my last run with spray tint im a little anti, unless you get a good clear. looking at the initially i was thinking the housing was black and the would still put out some light. dammit late night searching.

to save $80 i would try tinting yours first (not the spray stuff), but the actual tint that you put on them.

They look dark. Do you think the light output would be descent?

i dont know teach, that is one of my concerns. my fogs are on all day every day. mayber we can pull the oem's apart and paint the housing.

i also came acroos some black projector fogs, but those may draw too much attention for the leo's.

Try pulling the stockers apart and painting them. Those ones you posted look too dark to let any light through.

what part would you paint? if you paint the bowl......forget about light output then. if you are going to paint the inside of the glass......heck, just do the outside and don't crack it open.

Naw, no way imo, you throwing way too much heat at it. I'm painting mine with vht , on the outside. First Indian summer day I get. I love the idea. I'm really not to concerned about the light Being downgraded. I'm gonna do the same as my tails, three coats and thats it. Just enough too change the tint from glass too off white. Certainly not dark as the cl's but close I believe. I'll post em up Right after. Fog lights really only work in the fog. lol.I use mine all the time too. But I see hella's on sale at Wally world so downward pointing light will not be an issue. 2 cts and talking out loud.

I was thinking inside so it doesn't chip. They will be getting hit with all kinds of road debris.
