I have a 2003 1500. I want to know what all black grille options look good. I want more of a clean street look than an aggressive off road look

From Amazon. The mesh is metal but the shell abs. Wish it was all metal though. The bolt holes didn't line up 100% with the grille frame. So when I somewhat forced them in and snugged to bolts and nuts together, you can see in the plastic where it sunk in a little bit. Looks bad up close but decent from a far

Thanks for the advice, I'm seeming to have a problem find a grille that will fit a sport bumper that's not chrome

I'm thinking about using plastic dip to cover all the chrome. Reviews are pretty good. Cost effective too.

On my last truck I did the front. Ended terrible especially around summer time. We get a lot of big bugs here that just tore up the plasti dip.......if anything I'd bedline it!
I'm getting ready to bedline my front bumper in a couple of weeks

but as far as sporty, i like the OEM grill painted, i shaved mine on my 03 reg cab so there is no ram head on it now, also they have the big mouth grill like i had for a short bit that comes painted glossy black on ebay

I did the same thing on my 03 quad cab before the conversion and show build, but on the new front end i shaved the ram head as well

That big mouth grill. I don't think it would of fit with the Laramie bumper though.

I like that I mouth grille. What company sells it? I have read that the sport and srt-10 trucks have a different style grille from a regular truck, I heard that it was a little different on the bottom. The big mouth grille is what I want for mine but I couldn't find one for it, one that would fit my truck which is like yours.

all grill shells from 02-05 are the same, just like all grills from an 06-08 are the same, simple as that, anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong lol...

the big mouth grill i got off ebay for like $100

for the wrong year but they make it for the 06-08 rams, and all grills are interchangeable

So all grilles for 02-05 are the same? I was about to order one for mine when I said that it would not fit the sport edition trucks. I just want to make sure before I order a grille and it don't fit, thanks for all the help!
