So I am looking into some nice tires for my summer wheels this spring, and I want to have a nice stance on my truck, without the "big lifted" look. I currently have the 08' model factory 20" chrome wheels, with 265/60R20 tires.

So I want to go with Toyo Open Country AT II's.

I want to go with a 295/60R20 , and I'm just wondering if these will work with my wheels and truck, without rubbing or anything. I'd like to keep the sidewall height but they also have the option for LT295/65R20, they also have 305 and 325 width, which I think would be a little too obnoxious, but I'm open to suggestions. I plan to have a torsion bar crank to level the truck out a bit, but other than that, no lift kits or anything.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone run 295 width tires at all?

Yes guys run 295s and 12.50 width tires all the time but usually with bilsteins or some type level kit and after market wheels. I'm sure there are guys on here running different tires on stock wheels.

Try doing a search and see what comes up. I'm sure there is a thread.

With a level, I believe that the trucks with T-bars (like yours) are able to fit 35/12.50R20s, so in theory you could run up to a 315/60R20, without rubbing. Now, every truck is different slightly from the factory, so you may have to trim a little plastic on the wheel wells, but that would be the most you'd have to do.

It's also highly recommended that you replace your shocks after you crank your T-bars, so I've read.

Okay thanks guys! I've been looking at the tire comparison diagram, and it isn't a whole lot wider, but I just want to make sure. I also plan on buying all new Bilstein shocks as well. I have tried searching for my particular wheel and truck with a 295 specific tire size, not much luck. I believe my factory wheels are 9 wide?

The tire conversion chart says 295/60R20 = 33.9X11.6R20, with a 11.6 width compared to my current 10.4.

I am running 33x12.50 on 20x10 wheels with a leveling kit on a 2017.
The guy I got them from was running bilsteins @ 2.1 I think. He now runs 295/60/20

Seeing you put wider heavier tires on your truck did you need to beef up your rear suspension?? I have 33x12 with -18 offset and rear end seems to be shimmying at highway speeds ?? Some saying maybe cuz rear end is weak?? But it's. 2015 with 12k mile ??

I was running 305's for years on stock 20x9's, only reason I went back to stock size 275 was because I got a deal on a set.

No rubbing issues on the Upper control arms? 305 is quiet wide!
Only at full lock up front. If I were to do it again I'd have to check clearance on the rear since now I have inner liners.
