I tried searching for some older post but it brings up a lot of useless info lol....

Im wanting some opinions on some good tires I have 35's on 20" stock dodge rims I don't do a whole lot of offroading since this will be my daily driver but I will be on the highway a lot since a lot of my family is 3 hours away. So im looking for something that has good tread life and doesn't make a crap load of road noise I have nitto mud grapplers now with about half tread so im shopping now and saving my money for that big purchase any help is appreciated! :favorites13:

Are you looking for an AT, street tire, MT? I've heard some good things about the Cooper Discoverer AT3, which I comes in a 35/12.50r20, and has a 55k mile warranty. It's an AT, so should be pretty good on the road noise.

Honestly I don't care as long as they get good mileage out of them and they're quiet lol.... but yeah I think I would like some all-terrains over just plain ol street tires though especially since I'd like to keep the 35s

I now have 36K on the OEM Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor in LT265/70R17/E. Tread is still at ~50%.

If I don't lift or level the truck, I'll be putting on the same tire again. Not the cheapest tire, but have been great.
I actually looked at those but couldn't find the size I'm wanting from reviews they sound like what I'm wanting more or less.

SB,
How is the wet traction on these?

Sent from my LG G4 on Tapatalk.

Wet traction is great; under reasonable acceleration, they will only really break loose when crossing the painted lines like the stop/crosswalk lines - hydroplaning is almost nonexistent. Snow traction is fantastic. Ice traction is ok. (I also have AND USE 4WD and don't drive like an idiot on those surfaces. They track nicely and don't make much noise. Pretty impressive for an advertised 50K tire.

I'm running the Lionhart tires only had em a month so not sure on life but they have great traction everywhere I've put them. I realize they aren't common but they're quiet and I'm very happy with them. Designed after the Toyo open country and nowhere near the price tag of the toyos

I run the mastercraft atx. It is made by Cooper, almost identical to the at3. But a little cheaper. They are great tires.

No complaints but I would suggest getting them bead balanced I have weights atm and I need it redone already. They are quiet and traction is great as long as I ain't playing.
