Making a bed cover

So I have a 05 Daytona with the stock spoiler and I want to put a cover on it. I don't have $1000+ to spend on the retrax hard cover. Any ideas for a good homemade alternative?

I'm interested in this as well. I know I saw somewhere somebody used a fiberglass cover and molded the wing into it.

Well I thought about it last night and I am going to use some plywood and electrical kindoff and redneck engineer it. Should have it done in a couple if days.

It's done. A couple of pieces of osb and electrical kind off as rails. Used some Bedliner to coat it. I think it still needs some sealant. All in was $87

There is a seam where the two meet. You just can't see it in this pic
