i like the r/t style whisker stripes, and i think they would look good on my truck, here is raiders truck with them, mines a 04 and i'd like to try it, these were made for the truck measured and fitted, i found some on ebay for 25 shipped and in matte black, i will not put 287 or r/t under it just yet as im trying to get a feel for it, what do yall think....

The stripes are going back on my truck this week. Its not that I didn't like them its just they are tricky to put on so im having a guy at work do it. Should have pics tomorrow night or Wednesday

i cant find pics anywhere of our trucks with them, daniel they would be in flat black on my truck, they should look very similar to raiderjays....shadow i knew that you liked em you just had to redo them....i know i dont have a hood or a spot to stop em on the hood but i think they would look spiffy....

I like them on all black trucks . If you had black rims and bumpers I would say yes
With them lighter black and your black truck and the chrome .... to busy IMO

the black wheels and bumpers are just a lil bit of cash away, im waiting on the wheels i got now to wear out then 22s will be bought in black, bumpers are just hanging to tie the chrome in for now...

I think touting a under powered motor would be questionable. The newer models are posting 370 hp. With that in mind, It would make of a unreasonable thought process, of the average ignorant on looker.Let me give you an example, Dodge had a 340 r/t a 360 r/t and maybe a big block but the cc escapes me. Point is no one posted 318 on the side of there chargers. or challengers. Same with the 4.7's you think anyone is gonna put 287 on there truck? I like the whiskers, but since they (dodge) came out with the more powerful hemi, I think pasting the 345 is a tad too much.

I know, I know, Bill go back too sleep yer talking out yer ass!. Jmho.

yeah, I agree, just not feeling the numbers. I wonder if they can run farther into the fender. I guess there not that easy to put on. I was told too soak the area with a slight soapy water solution, like a cap ful of dishwashing and a gallon or two of plain water. Sponge down the area and then squeegee it out. Well thats what I was told, I never tried it. Good luck with it jason. It'll look hot.

I say just throw the stripes on it with R/T on it...hell, Chrysler Group is throwing the R/T badge around like crazy anyway....even the Journey has an R/T model with a 6 cylinder...
