Noise coming from the hood latch

My 05 ram has a really high pitched sqeak coming from the front of the truck. As far as I can tell its the hood latch, has anyone else had this problem? And if so how do you fix it?

I think my truck is squeaking from their too. Im just going to grease it good when I get home and see if that does anything.

Make sure everything in the latch assembly is tightened to specs:

-hood latch to the upper radiator crossmember bolts: 11 N·m (8 ft. lbs.)
-hood release handle to the instrument panel bracket: 9 N·m (80 in. lbs.)
-secondary hood latch and striker assembly to the hood: 11 N·m (8 ft. lbs.)

Latch Squeak

Make sure the rubber bump stops are adjusted right. There is one on each side of the latch assly(they have a hex head on them) Turn them up until the hood doesn't move at all when shut.
