Yep push the center through the clip then get a small screw driver to pop out the rest... you can do em all in 2 mins tops.

yup im doing a little chop right now, waiting for it to dry i just washed it.

So the things came out no problem. I actually have a metal punch just that size and they popped right down, I might actually be able to re-use them! I sanded it down with the 220. Amazing how fast that goes with an orbital :naughty: Gotta wait till tomorrow to lay down some primer and sand it up with the 800. All the little scuffs and imperfections came right off with the sanding. When I was washing the dust off, It looked like wet black paint, so smoooooooth! I'm excited now! I hope the rest of it goes this easy.

the thing is, you probably could have traded a guy w a chrome grille that wanted a black grille and he woulda been alot happier

Dude what are you talking about? I got this for 30$ I wanna paint it silver to match.

You got a black grille cheap, and quite a few people want black grilles. It doesnt matter whether its black, purple, or chrome because you are painting it silver. You wouldnt really gain anything unless you sold it, but someone could have used the black. Too late now and not a big deal

Was someone looking for a grill? I just wanted tips on how to paint it. I could care less what someone else wanted. This is for me.

:doh2: I just realized I used the 800 grit last night, did a once over with the 220 like I shoulda done, now its drying again from the washing, gonna go pick up some filler primer since all I have is sealer primer. Fun stuff.

Man thats alot of work goin on there. I would be pissed the first bug I hit after spending all the time you are on it.
