plasti did is a spray on rubberized coating. You can get it at lowes for under $6 a can and i think i read that you can do a set a wheels with around 4 cans of plasti dip.

crack in a can.

its a rubberized type spray on material. works really easy, and very forgiving unlike paint. Plus if you don't like it you can peel it right off with no damage to the rim. All the prep that is needed is a good cleaning.
Plasti dip can be bought at home improvement stores in their paint isle its around $6 a can I buy it by the case (6 cans) when I did all my blacking out. I used around 3 on my rims. I need to go get some more for touchups.

--V-- sig. spray on bedliner on 02 OEM wheels

That is awesome..actually that was the route I was thinking about...can't get much more durable than bedliner..don't have to worry about paint running so much ..seems alot less of a hassle..did you take tires off ? or do them with your tires still on ?

nice, don't go too thick on your first coat. Unfortunately you are supposed to wait 30 min. between coats
