IMO only black (or at least dark color) trucks should be blacked out. I think it looked better when the dark spots were chromed out or at least color matched, especially with a silver truck. But to each his own. As long as you like it that's all that matters.

i wanted a black truck.
but i think i'm gonna stick to the concept art for now. which would make the truck half black half silver

yessir. i tried to do the hood part. but ran out of paint after 1/4 of the way thru. so i peeled it off. and i used the last 2 cans from home depot on the front bumper and trim cap.
so in a week or two i'll do the hood
