Set the oven to 225 to 235 degrees no more. Stick the housings in it for no less than 10-15 minutes. The pry them apart. There are a dozen youtube videos on this subject. You may have to reheat the housing a couple times though if you are not fast enough. When resealing them get this: OCI Butyl Rubber Glue - Accessories from The Retrofit Source Inc

It will do a much better job of resealing the headlight than anything else. Also get a complete retrofit kit from Jeremy at retroshop. You will not regret it and you will be better off in the long run. Get a shroud it wil hide the internals of the projector and just look cleaner. Again ask Jeremy what he recommends on the shroud.

JJ has a right up on here with a time and temperature to heat them
Worked for me three or four times now without problems/melting
