Total of 4 brackets per side BTW> So on the bottum bracket inside you have to place the bracket so you can be able to tighten the fastener and not interfere with the black tubing/bar that runs along the bottum.

Notice above I had to cut into the chrome of the grille to achieve positioned look on the outside of the grille.

Again above more chrome trimming and low but acceptable edge distance for hole into chrome.

So I found it easier to trim the chrome than to trim or elongate the metal of the brackets and no cuts can be seen from front or sides. My trusty dremel with quality cut-off wheel was my tool.

Final comment. First thing I did was attach the mesh pieces to the grille cut-outs and had to fine tune a couple of the holes in the Mesh to accept all the fasteners and to aid in lining them up so there would be no gap under the screw heads on the outside.
